Saint Louis Chess Club
The Saint Louis Chess Club stands as the premier global destination for competitive play, anchoring Saint Louis as the “Chess Capital of the United States.” This state-of-the-art facility features a world-class tournament hall designed to accommodate everyone from local enthusiasts to legendary Grandmasters. As a non-profit educational organization, the club serves as the prestigious home for all major U.S. Championship events as well as the Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz, the Sinquefield Cup, the Cairns Cup and more.
The venue is currently in the final phase of a massive expansion into a 30,000-square-foot campus. This ongoing project is actively transforming the site, introducing upgraded tournament areas, advanced classrooms, a chess themed restaurant, and a professional video production studio for live-streaming. Located in the trendy Central West End—directly across from the World Chess Hall of Fame—the club offers a vibrant, professional atmosphere for organizers and players alike. Through this growth, the Saint Louis Chess Club continues to provide an unparalleled environment dedicated to the integrity and future of the game.
